Tasting Notes:
Dark garnet, though the nose was relatively closed after a 2 hour decant and an earlier 3 hour open bottle. Mostly earth and forest floor with a whiff of dark fruit. Palate was a different story. Dark fruit, fully integrated tannins, low acidity but still solidly structured. Long, long finish with fruit and spice notes. Truly a wonderful wine 🍷
