Chateau Pape Clement 黑教皇位於波爾多 Graves 格拉夫產區北邊的 Pessac-Leognan，與五大之一的Chateau Haut-Brion 相鄰不遠，入選 Grand Cru Classe de Graves 格拉夫列級莊，黑教皇的歷史可以追溯到 1300 年，可說是波爾多歷史最悠久、也最具代表性的酒莊之一。
現在莊園的經營已經全權交給了 Montagne 的女婿 Bernard Magrez(左圖)，他是酒界重量級人物，同時掌舵著波爾多另3間列級莊，名下 9 個國家擁有約 44 間酒莊，實力相當雄厚，在Bernard接手後，酒莊逐漸推上頂峰。
其釀製的 2009 年份 Pape Clement Blanc 白葡萄酒分別獲得 Robert Parker 及 James Suckling 親評滿分 100 分，2010 年份紅亦獲 Robert Parker 滿分 100 分。
Tasting Notes:
A really excellent wine. I decanted for about 2 hours and it showed its age beautifully with a nice rib roast. The cork broke in half but I was able to extract it. Had a nice rusty hue to it and some wonderful barnyard types of flavors. One of the nicest old Bordeauxs I have tasted. Probably near the end of its life so I was lucky to catch it.
