Background Information (背景資料)：
Chateau Lascombes的葡萄園是Margaux（瑪歌）產區中最為卓越的，其土壤類型也極為獨特。葡萄園中有三類面積相當、土質截然不同的地塊：礫石山丘上種有Cabernet Sauvignon（赤霞珠）和Petit Verdot（小維多），礫石粘土上種有Merlot（梅洛）和Cabernet Sauvignon，粘土-石灰岩地塊則種有Merlot。此外，與其他Margaux產區的酒莊不同，Chateau Lascombes的Merlot產量占葡萄總產量的半數之多。

Tasting Notes (品酒筆記)：
Took this bottle to Vegas for my Niece’s 21st birthday dinner at the Mayfair Supper Club. Paired this with a Filet Mignon with a perigourdine sauce. 3rd time I have had this wine (last time was in 2015). 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 3% Petite Verdot. Decanted about an hour before drinking. Moderately sedimented. Deep garnet color. This has fleshed out very nicely at 21 years old. Aromas of saddle leather. The tannins were still prominent. Notes of plum, charred oak and tar. 95 points.
