卡農世家酒庄位於法國波爾多Medoc的Saint-Estephe，在1855分級中為列三級酒莊，酒莊葡萄園占地55公頃，俯視著吉倫特河Gironde，受益於河流的調節作用外，葡萄園土壤還受河流沖積形成非常深厚的礫石底土，構成絕佳風土條件，賦予紅酒兼具力量感和細膩感的特質。葡萄園由一面類似布根地園區的古老石牆環繞。於2006年開始有計劃地進一步提高赤霞珠的種植比例。酒莊精心挑選了品性不一的優質赤霞珠克隆植株，旨在為最終成酒提供更高的複雜度。

Tasting Note:
Decanted 6hrs. My first go with the 10 Calon Segur (PC took he rest) and suffice to say, i was really enamored with it. Sporting the more forward, structured aspects of the vintage, this smartly displays its picture perfectly ripe Cassis fruit with lovely violet and other floral aromas and flavors. Add the CS trademark green tobacco notes and some No. 2 lead fillings – and oh baby you had me at ‘Hello’. Very much in the early maturity period, but I can envision both additional development and a long drinking window ahead. I do so adore a great Calon.
